The
Perfect Substitute points us to this tip on how to get free
gas. Not to be outdone by the senators who want to send voters a bribe in the
form of a $100 check representing a gas tax
rebate (uhm, why not just cut or
eliminate the tax in the first place?), the counties of Orange and Los Angeles
in Southern California will give you a free gallon of gas if you run out on the
freeway. I guess they need somewhere to spend all the extra cash they've been
pulling in from property taxes.
