RE: Other Abuse (KMM84672868V12469L0KM)
Hello,
Thank you for contacting Yahoo! Chat Abuse.
While we don't have administrative Yahoo! "chatters" on call, you can
take advantage of the following features we have available for you:
1. The Ignore feature:
Use this command whenever someone is saying something you'd rather not
see. If the person is disruptive to the entire chat room, please remind
everyone else to use the Ignore command, too. To ignore a chatter:
Right-click a name in the chat room in the "Chatters" Box or and select
"Ignore User".
2. The Language Filter feature:
The ability to control what language you do and do not see in the Chat
rooms is in your control! To strengthen or weaken your language filter,
just click the "Settings" at the top of the chat room and then select
"Display." Under "Word Filter" select "none", "weak", or "strong". Be
sure to click "Apply" when done to put your new settings into effect.
3. Ignore Invitations
If you're getting too many invitations to join a room, you can turn this
option off. Simply click on the "Preferences" button and insert a check
in the "Ignore all invitations" box. Then click "Save."
4. The PM Windows feature:
If private message boxes are becoming a nuisance, relief is in sight!
Click the "Settings" button, then "Messages". There are three
selections to choose from. After you have made your selection, be sure
to click "Apply" to put your new settings into effect.
If you believe you have witnessed a violation of the Yahoo! Terms of
Service while in a Yahoo! chat room, please use the blue "Report Abuse"
link located at the bottom right corner of chat rooms in Yahoo!. Please
feel free also to report the abuse by using the online report form:
http://add.yahoo.com/fast/help/chat/cgi_abuse
If you seriously feel as though your physical well-being is threatened
at any time, we suggest you contact your local law enforcement agency.
Thank you again for contacting Yahoo! Chat Abuse.

I have been unable to log in to my account. I spoke with a
customer service representative who said that my account was disabled
for a Terms of Service violation, but was unable to tell me what the
violation was. I was instructed to complete this form in order to get
my account reactivated. The reference number for that call is 850-8665.
Last week I submitted a request for assistance in unlocking my account
and received an auto-response related to Yahoo Chat Abuse. The
reference code from that email is KMM84396748V19562L0KM.
What do I need to do to have my account reactivated?
Thank you,
Christian Warden
